About the Role
Our client is seeking a specialist Healthcare Architect to contribute to their expanding portfolio of healthcare facilities in and around Stoke-on-Trent . This role requires a deep understanding of the unique design requirements, regulations, and functional needs specific to healthcare environments. You will be responsible for leading the architectural design process for new build hospitals, clinics, and extensions, ensuring compliance with stringent healthcare standards and providing optimal patient and staff environments. This is a unique opportunity to specialize and make a tangible difference in the healthcare sector from our Staffordshire base.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of healthcare facilities , ensuring adherence to specific industry regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, clients, and technical consultants to define project requirements.
- Produce detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and 3D models for healthcare projects.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, accessibility standards, and infection control guidelines.
- Manage project phases from conceptual design through to construction administration, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Requirements
- A qualified Architect with significant experience, with a demonstrable focus on healthcare architecture .
- In-depth knowledge of NHS guidelines, HTM (Health Technical Memoranda), and HBN (Health Building Notes) is essential.
- Proficiency in Revit and other relevant architectural design software.
- Strong understanding of the functional and operational needs of various healthcare settings.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
