What you will do:

Welcome participants and provide a professional, friendly, and supportive experience throughout their clinic visit.

Explain clinic procedures and assist with informed consent processes in accordance with organisational policies.

Carry out clinical observations including blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, and other health measurements.

Safely perform venepuncture procedures and collect blood samples in line with clinical guidelines and competency requirements.

Label, process, and prepare biological samples for laboratory transport and testing.

Record participant information and clinical data accurately using electronic systems.

Ensure clinical equipment is cleaned, maintained, and calibrated in accordance with local procedures.

Maintain high standards of infection prevention, health and safety, and clinical governance.

Monitor participants throughout appointments and escalate any concerns appropriately.

Ensure compliance with UK GDPR and data protection requirements while maintaining confidentiality.

Monitor stock levels and report shortages to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Assist with clinic opening, setup, and end-of-day closure procedures.

Work collaboratively with healthcare, research, and operational teams to ensure efficient service delivery.

Promote equality, diversity, inclusion, and person-centred care in all interactions.

Participate in mandatory training, supervision, and ongoing professional development activities.
