Avon Search is currently recruiting for a Healthcare Assistant on behalf of a well-established luxury retirement home in Addlestone, Surrey.

Originally opened in 1983, the home was once a substantial country house and has since been sympathetically extended and converted to provide a high-quality, comfortable residential setting.

With just 21 residents, the home offers a genuinely personal and family-like atmosphere where residents are treated with dignity, respect and compassion. The home has a well-established, friendly atmosphere, making it an excellent place to join a supportive and close-knit team.

The home features 21 beautifully furnished bedrooms, many with en-suite facilities, along with welcoming communal areas and a vibrant sensory garden filled with colour and wildlife.

The Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting residents with their day-to-day care and wellbeing.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting residents with personal care and daily living activities Promoting dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing Building positive and meaningful relationships with residents Supporting residents with meals, hydration and mobility Assisting with activities and social engagement Maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable environment Recording care provided accurately Working closely with colleagues to deliver high standards of person-centred care

The successful candidate will be:
