Agency Healthcare Assistant – GREAT YARMOUTH(NR31)
Location: Great Yarmouth
Job Type: Agency / Temporary
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour PAYE
Shift Pattern: Flexible agency shifts
We are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to work agency shifts at a well-established care home in Great Yarmouth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Healthcare Assistants looking for flexible agency work, with regular shifts available to fit around your existing commitments.
The Role
- Providing high-quality, person-centred care to residents
- Supporting residents with personal care, washing, dressing and continence needs
- Assisting with mobility and repositioning where required
- Supporting residents with meals and hydration
- Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting any concerns to senior staff
- Building positive relationships with residents and their families
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Working as part of a wider nursing and care team
- Following all relevant care plans, policies and procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant or Support Worker
- Experience within a care home, nursing home or similar healthcare setting is desirable
- A caring, compassionate and respectful approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable and flexible approach to agency work
- Right to work in the UK
