About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, clinical areas, and common spaces according to strict healthcare guidelines.
• Operate and maintain specialized cleaning equipment, including autoclaves and high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filtered vacuums.
• Handle and dispose of medical waste, sharps, and hazardous materials safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Follow detailed cleaning schedules and infection control protocols meticulously to prevent the spread of pathogens.
• Monitor and maintain appropriate levels of cleaning supplies and disinfectants.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or facility issues to the relevant supervisor immediately.

Requirements

• Previous experience in healthcare cleaning or a similar environment requiring strict infection control is essential.
