About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Healthcare Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations within healthcare facilities in Sunderland . This critical role ensures that all clinical and non-clinical areas meet the highest standards of hygiene and infection control, directly contributing to patient safety and well-being. You will lead a team of cleaning operatives, providing training, guidance, and performance management, while also liaising with facility management and clinical staff. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and manage a team of cleaning staff to ensure adherence to healthcare cleaning protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections of all areas, including wards, operating theatres, and public spaces, to ensure compliance with infection control standards.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and task assignments for the cleaning team.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed and ensuring proper storage.

Requirements
