About the Role

Our client, a specialist recruitment consultancy in Plymouth , is looking for a dedicated Healthcare Recruitment Consultant to join their growing team. This role involves sourcing and placing healthcare professionals, including nurses, doctors, allied health professionals, and care staff, into a variety of clinical and non-clinical settings. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with both healthcare providers and candidates, ensuring a seamless and ethical recruitment process. Key Responsibilities

• Source and recruit qualified healthcare professionals for temporary and permanent roles.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, care homes, and other healthcare organisations.
• Conduct thorough candidate vetting, including compliance checks, DBS, and reference verification.
• Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from initial contact to offer and onboarding.
• Stay abreast of industry regulations, trends, and workforce demands within the healthcare sector.

Requirements

• Previous experience in recruitment, ideally within the healthcare sector, is preferred.
• Understanding of healthcare roles, qualifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of roles and candidates efficiently.
• A proactive and compassionate approach to connecting healthcare professionals with vital roles.
