Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) to deliver a nationally significant workforce transformation project within Radiotherapy in NHS Wales. The postholder will lead delivery of Phase 2 of the Multi-Professional Radiotherapy Target Definition programme, funded through Advancing Radiotherapy Cymru, over a 12-month period. The focus of this role will include developing a national framework for outlining radiotherapy treatments, creating a compendium of training resources, designing a delivery model for implementation across Wales, and supporting rollout, evaluation and impact within clinical services. The postholder will work closely with HEIW Healthcare Science Workforce Transformation, the Multi-Professional Radiotherapy Target Definition Group, and key clinical and educational stakeholders across NHS Wales. The role is open to Therapeutic Radiographers, Medical Physicists and Clinical Technologists working in Radiotherapy. Applications are also welcomed from other professionals who can clearly evidence relevant experience in developing national training frameworks, educational resources and delivery models. Experience of multi-professional working and translating clinical practice into structured training resources is desirable.

Qualifications and Knowledge
