Are you a Heat Pump Engineer looking to specialise further in low temperature heating systems, with a strong package and a stable, long-term role?
Do you have hands-on experience installing and maintaining ASHP/GSHP systems and enjoy fault-finding and delivering a high-quality install?
This is a permanent position with a well-established renewables and heating installer, giving you a key role designing heat pump systems from survey stage through to install and ongoing support. You'll join a business focused on quality and customer service, working with modern renewable heating technology and maintaining high standards on every job, with flexibility supported where possible. You'll be responsible for surveying, designing heat pump systems, installing/maintaining/repairing heating systems, completing diagnostics, and keeping accurate service and maintenance records. This role suits a technically motivated engineer who wants high-status technical work in heat pumps and low-temperature systems, taking pride in doing compliant, well-presented work rather than chasing quick, short-term jobs.
The Role:
- Survey-led heat pump system design and installation work in York and surrounding sites
- Maintenance, repair, inspection/diagnostics, and customer-facing fault finding on heating systems
- Permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week)
The Person:
- NVQ Level 3 in a relevant heating discipline
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating
- At least 1 year's experience fitting air source and ground source heat pumps
