Job Description
Are you an organised and customer-focused Helpdesk Administrator with experience in helpdesk, service desk, estimating, maintenance or facilities management? We are recruiting on behalf of a growing business in Bolton for a Helpdesk / Estimator Administrator to join their busy Helpdesk team. This is a varied role combining customer service, job coordination, administration and estimating, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being at the centre of day-to-day operations and managing multiple priorities
Benefits:
Salary up to £30,000 - may be some wiggle room for the right candidate
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
20 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays

Monday to Friday working hours The Role
You will manage client requests from initial enquiry through to completion, coordinate engineers and subcontractors, prepare quotations and ensure jobs are accurately recorded and progressed.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing incoming client enquiries via telephone, email and helpdesk systems
Logging, prioritising and allocating reactive maintenance jobs
Preparing quotations and estimates for maintenance and construction works
Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams
Scheduling engineers and subcontractors
Monitoring jobs against SLAs and client deadlines
Raising purchase orders and maintaining accurate job costing information
Producing work orders, reports and supporting documentation
Maintaining accurate records of jobs, quotations, invoices and communications
Providing customers with regular progress updates
Supporting project managers and operational teams with administration
Booking accommodation for field-based engineers
Ensuring company procedures, quality and health & safety requirements are followed Skills/Experience required:
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, commercially aware and confident dealing with customers and contractors.Pr
Pevious experience within a helpdesk, service desk, estimating, maintenance or administration environment
Experience using CAFM or job management systems
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent telephone and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
A customer-focused approach
The ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience within facilities management, construction, maintenance, property services or engineering would be advantageous.
Desirable experience
BigChange or another CAFM system
Reactive and planned maintenance
Preparing quotations or cost estimates
Purchase orders, invoicing and job costing
