About the Role
Our client is seeking an organized and efficient Helpdesk Coordinator to manage their busy helpdesk operations in Bristol . This role is fundamental to ensuring that all incoming support requests are managed effectively, assigned appropriately, and tracked through to resolution. You will be the central point of contact for coordinating support activities, liaising between users and technical teams. Working within a dedicated IT department, you will play a key part in maintaining smooth IT operations and ensuring a high level of service for all employees, contributing to a culture of efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the helpdesk, ensuring efficient ticket management.
- Receive, log, and categorize incoming support requests from employees via phone, email, and the ticketing system.
- Assign tickets to appropriate technical staff based on skill set and workload.
- Monitor ticket progress, ensuring timely resolution and communication with users.
- Assist with user account administration and basic troubleshooting tasks.
- Generate reports on helpdesk performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a helpdesk , customer service , or administrative support role.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using helpdesk ticketing systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a high volume of requests.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
