About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Helpdesk Coordinator to join their established team in Wolverhampton . This role is central to the efficient operation of the IT helpdesk, ensuring that all support requests are managed effectively and promptly. You will be responsible for logging issues, assigning tasks to technicians, and ensuring timely resolution, acting as a key point of communication between users and the support team. Key Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and prioritize all incoming helpdesk requests from staff.
• Assign support tickets to appropriate IT technicians based on expertise and workload.
• Monitor ticket progress and ensure timely resolution and closure.
• Communicate with users regarding the status of their support requests.
• Maintain accurate records within the helpdesk system and generate reports.
• Assist with user onboarding and offboarding IT requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in an administrative, coordination, or helpdesk support role.
• Proficiency with helpdesk software and ticketing systems.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to liane effectively.
