Our client is seeking a skilled Helpdesk Support Engineer to join their IT department, working remotely. Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote support tools.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently and effectively.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripherals.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within the IT environment.
- Document all support activities, resolutions, and technical procedures.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or specialized teams as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS), hardware, and common software applications.
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting and basic IT infrastructure concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems is essential for this remote position.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are highly desirable.
