HGV 1 Driver- Nightshift

Are you an experienced HGV 1 Driver looking for a nightshift role with excellent rates of pay? We are hiring a Class 1 Driver to safely and efficiently transport materials while maintaining the highest standards of health & safety and customer service.

This position offers structured Monday-Friday night duty hours, enhanced nightshift pay, and full training on company systems and procedures. You'll join a successful and growing logistics operation where professional standards and staff support are a priority.

The role is ideal for an experienced HGV driver who is comfortable working nights and takes pride in safe loading, accurate paperwork, and delivering a high level of customer service.

Position Details

• Role: HGV 1 Driver (Class 1)
• Location: Mallusk
• Pay Rate: £19.30 per hour
• Overtime: £25.66 per hour after 50 hours
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00pm-7:00am
• Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Safely loading vehicles for delivery, ensuring correct weights and secure loads
• Completing deliveries while following all health & safety procedures
• Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork, including signed and dated delivery notes
• Following driving hours, tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations
• Using vehicle tracking systems correctly at all times
• Providing a high level of customer service and representing the company professionally

Essential Criteria

• Valid UK HGV Class C+E driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Good understanding of driving hours and tachograph regulations
• Customer-focused approach
• Flexible and reliable attitude
• Comfortable working nightshift hours

Desirable Criteria

• Previous experience with strapping and chaining loads
• Experience working within a transport or logistics environment
