Pertemps are looking for an experienced HGV Driver / LGV1 Driver / Class 1 Driver / C+E Driver to join our client’s busy depot based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing, regular work, with competitive PAYE rates.

Location: Stoke-on-Trent Pay rates: From £21.44 to £24.57 per hour (PAYE) Hours: 10 – 12hour duties Job Type: Regular, Ongoing

Your new HGV Driver / LGV1 Driver / Class 1 Driver / C+E Driver role will include:

Safely loading and unloading cages of letters and parcels Working with both single and double-deck trailers, with some pushing and pulling involved Average 10 - 12hour shifts Various start times as this is a 24-hour operation Weekend work is also required for this role

What we’re looking for in a HGV Driver / LGV1 Driver / Class 1 Driver / C+E Driver:

Minimum 1 years’ HGV Class 1 driving experience, with recent Class 1 work within the last 6 months A valid C+E licence, CPC card, and digital tachograph card A maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements) Benefits of the HGV Driver / LGV1 Driver / Class 1 Driver / C+E Driver role:
