An excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV/ Trailer Technician to join a well-established company! Job Type:
Full-Time, Permanent. Salary:
Up to £21.00 Per Hour, Depending on Experience with plenty of overtime on offer (Overtime paid at time and half & double time) Location:
Cardiff. Shift pattern
: 06:00-14:00 10:00-18:00 (Saturday mornings every other week) About The Company: The company provides workshop and mobile assistance to heavy good vehicles including trucks and trailers .
With more than 19 years of experience in the industry, they are looking to bring on board new technicians who are looking for fresh challenge. Job Role: Based primarily at the busy commercial workshop, duties include ·
Vehicle inspections and repairs ·
MOT preparation and testing ·
Welding and fabrication ·
Diagnostic work ·
Maintaining a clean and organised work area ·
Working efficiently under pressure as part of a team ·
Completing job records accurately and on time ·
Adhering to all health & safety and company policies Skills & Experience: ·
Time-served technician essential ·
HGV licence preferred (not essential) ·
Experience with tail lifts and double-deck trailers preferred (training available) ·
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent ideal ·
Minimum 5 years' experience with HGVs / plant / trailers preferred Benefits: ·
