HGV Class 1 Bulk Tanker Driver

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver specializing in bulk tanker transport to join their team in Norwich . You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of bulk liquids or powders, adhering to strict safety regulations and company procedures. This role requires a high level of responsibility and attention to detail. The ideal candidate possesses a Class 1 license and experience with tanker operations, ensuring reliable service for our diverse client base. You will be a vital part of our transport division, ensuring the smooth flow of essential materials across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 1 HGV bulk tanker vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload bulk liquids or powders according to specific procedures.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, including tanker checks.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, tachograph records, and delivery documentation.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Provide excellent service to customers at delivery and collection points.

Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) license .
• Previous experience driving bulk tankers is essential.
• Up-to-date Driver CPC card and Digi Tachograph card.
• Demonstrated understanding of bulk liquid/powder handling and safety protocols.
• Excellent knowledge of UK road network and traffic laws.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
