HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Driver – Scunthorpe – Temp to Perm

SR Drivers are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers for a well-established client based in Scunthorpe, DN15.

This is a Temp to Perm opportunity offering various shift patterns, with shifts of up to 12 hours and the opportunity to secure a permanent position after successfully completing the temporary period.

Pay & Benefits

Temporary PAYE Rates:

• Monday–Friday: £225 per day

• Saturday & Sunday: £245 per day

• £30 Night Out Allowance per night

Permanent Package:

• £46,000 per annum day shift

• £48,000 per annum night shift

• £30 Night Out Allowance

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver, your duties will include:

• Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle

• Curtain-side deliveries and collections

• Loading and unloading

• Occasional manual handling

• Use of a pump truck when required

The role involves physical/manual work, so candidates must be comfortable with this.

Working Pattern

• Various shift patterns available

• Up to 12-hour shifts

• Days and Night Shifts available

• Flexibility is required

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience

• No more than 6 points on your driving licence

• Professional attitude towards customers and colleagues

• Good reliability and attendance

• Comfortable with physical/manual work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
