Summary

Motiva Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers on behalf of our client, a well-established general haulage operation based in Fakenham.

We are looking for reliable, professional and experienced Class 1 drivers who are comfortable spending nights away from home and are looking for regular, ongoing tramping work.

There are a number of shift patterns available, making this an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for a role that suits their preferred working pattern.

Available Tramper Shift Patterns:

• 
  
• 5/6 Tramper Monday Start

Monday to Friday Tramper 1 in 3 Saturdays

Monday to Friday Tramper

We will only consider applications from Drivers with at least 12 months' commercial Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.

Preferred Experience

Curtainside Trailers

Ratchet Strapping

Previous Tramping Experience

Experience with overnight stays

The Role Involves

• 
  
• Ensuring vehicles comply with all legal requirements and reporting any issues to the relevant transport team

Ensuring the security and accuracy of deliveries and loads in your charge

Following delivery instructions accurately and effectively

Driving in a safe and efficient manner at all times

Complying with health and safety standards

Adhering to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

Completing all relevant delivery and vehicle documentation

Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects or issues promptly

Working professionally and maintaining a high standard of customer service

Driver Requirements

You must hold:

• 
  
• A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card

A full Driver Qualification Card (DQC/CPC)

At least 12 months' commercial Class 1 driving experience

Previous tramping experience is preferred, although drivers with the right attitude and relevant Class 1 experience will be considered. xrnqpay
