Ongoing Temporary/Ad- Hoc Work Available

We are currently recruitingHGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing temporary assignments to join our busy depot inRaunds, Wellingborough . This role primarily involvestrunking and deliveries to NDCs and RDCs , offering regular work, competitive pay rates, and immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shift Patterns Available

• Thursday to Monday start time from 3am

Pay Rates

Days

• Monday – Friday:£17.30 per hour
• Overtime after 47.5 hours:£19.46 per hour
• Saturday:£19.46 per hour
• Sunday & Bank Holidays:£25.95 per hour

Nights

• Monday – Friday:£19.77 per hour
• Overtime after 47.5 hours:£21.92 per hour
• Saturday:£21.92 per hour
• Sunday & Bank Holidays:£28.41 per hour

Only30 minutes break deducted per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Trunking and RDC/NDC deliveries
• Vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Vehicle preparation and refuelling
• Compliance with WTD and EU Drivers’ Hours regulations
• Safe and efficient operation of company vehicles
• Maintaining high customer service standards
• Ensuring deliveries are completed on time and in full

What We're Looking For

• Minimum6 months’ Class 1 driving experience
• ValidClass 1 (C+E) Licence
• ValidCPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than6 penalty points for minor offences
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance
