HGV Class 1 Driver - General Haulage

You will be responsible for transporting goods nationwide, ensuring timely and secure deliveries. Key Responsibilities

• Operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle for national freight transport.
• Safely load and unload goods, ensuring correct securing and handling procedures.
• Adhere to all driving regulations, including Working Time Directive and tachograph requirements.
• Maintain effective communication with the transport office regarding route progress and any delays.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving license.
• Up-to-date CPC card and valid tachograph card.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
• Knowledge of UK road network and logistics procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across various regions.
