We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for an ongoing trunking position operating a double-decker trailer.
The role involves trunking between depots and sites, with minimal manual handling. Drivers will be required to safely operate a double-decker vehicle and complete trunking runs efficiently and professionally.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver looking for consistent night work, regular shifts and competitive rates of pay.
The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you’ll be responsible for trunking using a double-decker trailer between designated depots and sites.
The role offers minimal manual handling, allowing you to focus primarily on safe and efficient driving. You will be expected to complete your trunking runs on time, carry out the required vehicle checks and maintain a professional standard throughout your shift.

Experience / Requirements
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- A full UK Driving Licence with Category C+E entitlement
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A valid UK Driver CPC Card
- Minimum 1 year’s HGV Class 1 driving experience
- No points on your driving licence
- No brand-new passes
- At least 2 years held on licence, or over 25 with 2 years held
- Previous trunking experience
- Experience operating double-decker trailers preferred
- Good knowledge of safe vehicle operation and coupling/uncoupling procedures
- Reliable and professional approach to work
- Comfortable working night shifts
