HGV Class 1 Driver Temp to Perm

Contract Type: Temp to Perm Driving Force Recruitment operating as an employment business are offering an excellent opportunity for HGV 1 Drivers to work for our award-winning client based in Magor (NP26) on a temp to perm contract. Shift Pattern:

• Monday – Friday Days
• Start times between 03:00 am – 06:00 am
• Temp to perm/guaranteed shifts
• Weekend overtime available PAYE Rates:
• Weekday days £16.50
• Weekday nights £19.25
• Saturday Day £21.00
• Saturday Night £22.34
• Sunday Day £22.34
• Sunday Night £23.50
• ** Holidays will be accrued on shift basis and paid when you take holiday - we do not include holiday pay in your hourly rate ** Hours: approximately 10-14 hours per shift Your responsibilities as a Class 1 Driver:
• Delivering goods to depots, operating palletised handling equipment, such as pump trucks.
• Ensuring all cargo is safely secured and strapped.
• Opening and closing the heavy side curtains and releasing or tightening the load straps.
• Operating refrigerated vehicles, completing between 1-3 deliveries per day. The right candidate will have an enthusiastic attitude and be reliable with a commitment to delivering 1st class customer service.
