People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our well-established client based in Garretts Green, Birmingham .

This is a fantastic opportunity offering regular, ongoing work with fixed start times and a choice of day or night shifts.

This role would sit applicants who have worked as a Class 1 LGV Driver, Category CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver

Rates of Pay:

• Days: £16.25 per hour
• Nights: £17.25 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Day shifts starting at 6:00am
• Night shifts starting at 6:00pm
• Fixed start times
• Flexible working week

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver are:

• General haulage deliveries
• Loading and securing loads safely
• Strapping down loads correctly
• Completing vehicle checks
• Adhering to all road transport and health & safety regulations

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Class 1 HGV Driver , you will need:

• At least 1 year's experience driving Class 1 HGV vehicles
• Valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
• Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of UK roads
• Confident in securing and strapping loads
• Reliable with a professional approach

Training:

• Site paid induction provided
