The role
We are seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver to support retail store deliveries from the Tamworth area. This temporary, day-shift opportunity is suited to a reliable and safety-focused driver who takes pride in delivering a professional service.

Start times vary from 0400 am and the shifts are 10/12 hours long, store deliveries. You will be delivering and locking the stores after.

This will be cages.
Key responsibilities
• Complete scheduled retail store deliveries safely and on time
• Carry out required vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Load, secure and transport goods in line with relevant procedures
• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain proof of delivery where required
• Communicate professionally with store contacts and report any issues promptly
• Maintain high standards of road safety, vehicle care and customer service
Skills and qualifications
• Valid HGV Class 1 licence
• xwwtmva Experience carrying out retail store deliveries
• Good knowledge of UK roads and route planning
• Strong awareness of vehicle safety and load security
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
