iRecruit4 are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of our clients a well-established transport and logistics company based in Swindon.

Have you previously worked at B&Q, Amazon, Howard Tenens or similar sites? If so, we'd love to hear from you.

Days, nights, full-time and part-time opportunities available. Newly passed drivers welcome .

Hours, Pay & Benefits for HGV Class 1 Drivers:

Up to £173 per shift
Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
Typical shifts are 9–10 hours
Day and night shifts available
Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Ongoing work
Newly passed HGV Class 1 drivers welcome
Immediate assessments available
Weekend availability particularly in demand
Drivers who provide their weekly availability will be offered work wherever possible

Key duties for HGV Class 1 Drivers include:

Completing vehicle safety checks and following planned routes
Deliveries and collections, including reversing onto loading bays
Trailer swaps, drops and collection of pre-loaded trailers
Opening and closing curtains and securing loads
Occasional side-loading with curtain-sided trailers
Completing delivery paperwork
Using smartphone-based driver apps
Following company procedures, health and safety requirements and drivers' hours regulations
No regular handball is involved
General haulage, trailer work and store deliveries
