HGV Class 1 Driver - Dayshift - Multi-Drop - Dalkeith / Newtongrange

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Dalkeith / Newtongrange .

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for a consistent dayshift role offering ongoing work and competitive rates of pay.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as an HGV Class 1 Driver , LGV Driver , or Category C+E Driver .

Rates of Pay: £16.10 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Start time: 9:00am

Overtime:

• Overtime paid after 8 hours

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a Class 1 Driver , you will work:

• Completing multi-drop deliveries across Scotland
• Loading and unloading goods where required
• Conducting vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on schedule
• Completing all relevant paperwork and using handheld devices where required
• Complying with all Drivers' Hours, Tachograph, and Road Traffic Regulations
• Delivering excellent customer service
