HGV Class 1 Driver Nights – Crick, Northamptonshire.

ONGOING WORK ALL YEAR ROUND – IMMEDIATE STARTS – GREAT RATES OF PAY

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Crick, Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and long-term stability within a supportive environment.

This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver, or Truck Driver.

Shifts
 • Sunday to Thursday – Start times between 19:00 and 01:00
 • Ad hoc shifts & Full Weeks available.

Rates of Pay
 • Nights – £19.95 per hour (Basic)
 • Nights Overtime – £25.44 per hour (After 48 hours)

Day-to-Day Duties

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:

 • Depot-to-depot trunking deliveries
 • Operating Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently
 • Completing pre-use and post-use vehicle checks
 • Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly
 • Completing all relevant transport paperwork and documentation
 • Complying with all road transport legislation and company procedures

Essential Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

 • A valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence
 • A minimum of 2 year's Category C+E (Class 1) driving experience
 • A valid xwwtmva Driver CPC Card
 • A valid Digital Tachograph Card
 • No more than six penalty points for minor offences

Desirable Experience

 • Previous commercial HGV Class 1 driving experience
 • Experience completing depot-to-depot trunking deliveries

Training Provided

 • Driver assessment prior to commencement
 • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
