HGV Class 1 Drivers required for excellent temp-to-perm opportunities in Minworth!

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a well established operation offering simple, desirable, RDC work on  4 on, 4 off shift patterns.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for a consistent rota, modern vehicles, excellent earning potential and the opportunity to secure a full-time permanent position.

Permanent Pay & Earnings Basic pay: £16.49 per hour + £1.00 per hour shift allowance (paid for every hour worked) Effective hourly rate: £17.49 per hour Once permanent, guaranteed 12-hour shifts, this provides minimum annual earnings of approximately £38,300 Once permanent, overtime shifts available at time and a half. Additional earning opportunities available through overtimeThe Role Trunking work, all deliveries to RDCs 4 on, 4 off shift pattern 12-hour shift average Start times between 02:00 and 07:00 – driver preferences can be accommodated where reasonably possible No handball and no self-tipping All vehicles are 2023 or newer All trucks are equipped with air conditioning, making them comfortable to drive during the warmer months Temp-to-perm positions – successful candidates will have the opportunity to move into a full-time permanent positionPermanent Employee Benefits

To be considered for the role, you must:

Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Have a minimum of 3 months' Class 1 driving experience Have no more than 9 points for minor driving offences Be able to successfully complete a driving assessment Have a reliable and professional approach to workWhy Apply?
