Job Description
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting experienced Shunter Drivers to join our team in Coventry CV8.
We are currently looking for PM ad-hoc Shunters for Mondays and full-time Shunters to work Monday to Friday nights.
Assessments Available ASAP!
Hours
PM Ad-Hoc Shunters:
* Mondays only
* Start times between 19:00 and 22:00
Full-Time Shunters:
* Monday to Friday
* 22:00 to 06:00
Pay Rates
* £18.50 between 06:00–22:00
* £20.00 between 22:00–06:00
* £25.00 weekend rate
Location
Coventry, CV8
The Role
* Shunting trailers within the yard – 40–100 moves per shift
* Yard manoeuvring and reversing with confidence and accuracy
* Communicating effectively with transport and logistics teams
Requirements
* Minimum 4 months’ shunting driving experience
* Full UK Class 1 licence (C+E)
* Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card
* No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
* Successful completion of assessment (theory and practical)
* Strong communication skills and a safety-first attitude
