Location: Coleshill, Birmingham Full-time, permanent position

Haden Hill Transport Ltd is looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers to join our growing team in Coleshill.

This is a full-time tramping position working 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday, with overnight stays during the working week. You'll benefit from a consistent working pattern, weekly pay, a modern fleet and long-term, stable employment.

Shift Pattern

• 5 shifts per week

• Sunday to Thursday

• No Saturday working

• Average shift length: approximately 10 hours

• Day and night start times

• Overnight stays during the working week

The Role

As a Class 1 Tramper Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe and professional transportation of goods while maintaining high standards of safety and vehicle care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle

• Completing scheduled collections and deliveries

• Following planned routes and using navigation systems where required

• Carrying out daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks

• Reporting any vehicle or equipment issues promptly

• Maintaining accurate driving, route and delivery records

• Complying with Drivers' Hours, Working Time and road safety regulations

• Communicating professionally with transport teams, customers and other stakeholders

What We're Looking For

You'll need:

A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

Valid Driver CPC (DCPC)

Valid Digital Tachograph Card

Good spoken and written English

A safe, reliable and professional approach to driving

Good communication skills

Class 1 driving experience is preferred, but applications from newly qualified drivers are welcome.
