Class 1 Tramper Driver

TEMP to PERM
Pertemps Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Class 1 W&D Tramper running out of Coatbridge.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established transport operation offering guaranteed hours, regular overtime, and generous overnight allowances.
Working Pattern:-
* Monday to Friday
* Tramping Monday to Thursday
* Paid travel home on Friday
* Minimum of 45 hours per week
* Consistent overtime available for those who want it
Key Responsibilities:-
* Carrying out Class 1 deliveries and collections across the UK
* Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport legislation
* Securing loads safely and delivering goods on time
* Accurately completing delivery paperwork and using electronic POD systems where required
* Maintaining high standards of customer service when delivering to clients
* Adhering to all health and safety procedures and driving regulations
What We're Looking For:-
* Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Previous Class 1 tramping experience preferred
* Strong understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations
* Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
* Successful candidates must pass a Drug & Alcohol test prior to starting employment
What's On Offer:-
* £17.00 per hour PAYE
* Permanent, full-time position
* Minimum 45 hours guaranteed per week
* Regular overtime available
* £28 overnight allowance for each night out (Monday to Thursday)
* Paid travel home on Fridays
