The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Day Driver , you will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods to customers across your designated route.

Drivers can expect to complete between 3 and 12 drops per shift , using a pump truck to assist with deliveries. Average shift lengths are between 10 and 12 hours , with start times typically between 05:00 and 08:00 .

This is a customer-facing role that requires a professional attitude and excellent communication skills when representing both Pure Staff and our client.

Key Responsibilities

* Complete multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods safely and efficiently.
* Carry out between 3 and 12 deliveries per shift.
* Use a pump truck to assist with deliveries where required.
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
* Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
* Adhere to all driver hours, working time regulations, and company procedures.
* Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when interacting with customers.
* Wear the correct PPE at all times, including safety boots and hi-vis clothing.
* Successfully complete a driving assessment prior to commencing work.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need

* A valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence .
* A valid Driver CPC Qualification .
* A valid Digital Tachograph Card .
* A minimum of 6 months' Class 2 driving experience . xwwtmva
