RATES: HGV Class 2 driver

Days: Standard £20.00 ph

Overtime Rate £30.00 ph Applicable 1-40 additional hours / £48.60 ph Applicable +100 additional hours

Saturday £30.00 ph

Sunday £40.00 ph

Duties

Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.

Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.

Refuse and Waste Collections within residential Areas.

Working in a team of 3 (1 driver, 2 loaders) collecting residential waste & tipping vehicle.

HGV Class 2 driver must Carry out multi-drop collections.

Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary

Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills

Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised

Possess an Enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service

Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work

Monday-Friday shifts 0615 starts, with optional overtime on Saturday.

Requirements

HGV C licence – New passes welcome

Digi Tacho & CPC cards

Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements

Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Driver’s Hours)

Good national geographical awareness

Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills

Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised

Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first class customer service

Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work
