Job Description

Are you an experienced Porter/Driver with a Full Class 2 Driving License looking for a new role in a company with nearly150 years of experience within the logistics and removalssector?

Due to continued growth, we're looking for a Class 2 Driver,that's hard-working and resilient as you'll be delivering andloading/unloading a range of goods from furniture to high valuedartwork. You'll be part of a team delivering a premium service,loading and unloading, ensuring great care is put into the safejourney of our client's valued items and your colleagues.

Skills, Qualifications andLicences

• HGVClass 2 Driving Licence (essential)
  
• Teamleading and/or supervisory experience (preferred)
  
• CSCSGreen Card (preferred)
  
• Knowledgeof established legal tachograph procedures (essential)
  
• ADR- Packages (preferred)
  

DailyResponsibilities

• Vehicledaily checks of your allocated HGV Class 2/7.5t /3.5tvehicle
  
• Ensuringthe vehicle is equipped with all the relevant specialist equipment.required for the days operation
  
• Liftingand packing a range of office furniture, soft furnishings, hardware,fine art, etc.
  
• Takinggoods in or out of storage
  
• Liftingand moving loads in excess of 25kg
  
• Ensuringthe highest of standards are met when on site
  
• Responsiblefor your health and safety or you and colleagues
  
• Alwaysdeliver excellent customer care and service
  
• Workingas an integral team member during Larger Specialist Projectsincluding Laboratory and Executive Office relocations
  
• Complyingwith all company and health and safety procedures
  

As a Class 2 Driver, you'll receive a starting day rate of£150-£160 depending on experience.You'll receive incentives and a benefits packagewhich will include Employees Discount Scheme, Healthcare and Deathin Service cover after 3 months. You'll also receive 23+8 days' holiday.

Enhanced Criminal Record Check

You will be required to undertake an "Enhanced CriminalRecord Check" or "Baseline Security Check" which willinvolve providing three years of address and employment history, validID and a character reference.
