HGV Class 2 Driver

About the Role

Our client is recruiting a dedicated HGV Class 2 Driver to operate within their distribution network, primarily serving the Milton Keynes area. This position is essential for maintaining the flow of goods to retail outlets and commercial premises, requiring a driver who is not only proficient in operating a Class 2 vehicle but also committed to safety and efficiency. You will work closely with the logistics team to ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, playing a vital role in customer satisfaction and operational excellence in Buckinghamshire . Key Responsibilities

• Drive and operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly, complying with all legal requirements.
• Transport goods to various customer locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift, reporting any faults or damage immediately.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods as required, ensuring they are secure and undamaged.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation, including proof of delivery.
• Provide a high level of customer service, acting as a professional representative of the company.

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 2 (C) driving license.
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card.
• No more than six penalty points on the driving license.
• Proven experience driving Class 2 vehicles, preferably in a commercial delivery environment.
• Good knowledge of the Milton Keynes and surrounding road network.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions precisely.
