People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Nottingham .

This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and genuine opportunities to secure a permanent position.

This role would suit candidates with experience as an LGV Class 2 Driver , Category C Driver or Truck Driver .

Rates of Pay:

• £15.33 per hour

Shift Pattern:

As an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will work:

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 06:30 and 07:30

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as an HGV Class 2 Driver are:

• Multidrop deliveries to commercial and residential locations
• Driving a curtain-sided vehicle
• Operating a tail lift and delivering palletised goods
• Assisting with handballing when required
• Driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
• Completing any necessary paperwork

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will need:

• To be comfortable with early starts
• A minimum of twelve months' previous Class 2 driving experience
• A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
• A valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
• No major endorsement codes

Training:

As an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will receive:

• Industry-related training
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
