HGV Class 2 Driver / Driver Operative

Salary: £40,000 to £47,500 per year based on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday only, no weekends Location: Bedford Type: Full-time, Permanent Bonus: Performance bonus up to £500 per month

Main Duties

Drive vehicles from 3.5-tonne vans up to 18-tonne rigid lorries. Collect hazardous and non-hazardous waste from commercial customers across the UK. Help with site clearances and waste removal projects. Load and unload waste containers and electrical equipment. Complete transport and waste paperwork. Carry out daily vehicle safety checks. Provide excellent customer service and work safely at all times.

Requirements

Category C (Class 2) licence. Driver CPC. Digital Tachograph Card. Ideally 2 years' commercial driving experience. Good communication skills and a strong work ethic. Physically fit, as the role involves manual handling and outdoor work.
