About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join their busy team in Belfast . This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of goods across Northern Ireland. You will be responsible for operating a Class 2 vehicle, adhering to strict schedules, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and driving regulations, contributing to the reliable operation of our transport services. This is a key position within our logistics department, ensuring customer satisfaction through dependable deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
• Deliver and collect goods according to a planned schedule.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues immediately.
• Ensure loads are safely secured and comply with weight restrictions.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and required documentation.
• Represent the company professionally to clients and the public.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Current Driver CPC qualification and Digi-Tacho card.
• A minimum of 2 years experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles.
• Clean driving licence with no major endorsements.
• Good knowledge of Belfast and surrounding areas.
• Reliability and a strong commitment to health and safety .
