The role

We are seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to support skip work operations on a temporary, days-based assignment. This is a hands-on driving role suited to someone who takes pride in safe, dependable vehicle operation and professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
• Carrying out skip work and related collection or delivery duties
• Completing vehicle checks before and after journeys
• Securing loads and following safe working procedures
• Completing delivery, collection and vehicle paperwork accurately
• Maintaining a professional approach when dealing with site staff and customers
• Reporting any vehicle defects, delays or issues promptly
• Following road transport, site and health and safety requirements Skills and qualifications
• Valid HGV Class 2 driving entitlement
• Practical experience of skip work or similar collection and delivery duties
• Good knowledge of safe loading, load security and vehicle xwwtmva checks
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A responsible approach to driving and workplace safety
