About the Role

Our client requires a competent and dependable HGV Class 2 Driver to join their operations in Stoke-on-Trent . This role focuses on the collection and delivery of goods within a defined geographical area, ensuring services are performed to a high standard. You will be an essential part of the company's service delivery, responsible for the safe operation of your vehicle and timely completion of your routes. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, customer-focused, and committed to adhering to all health and safety regulations pertinent to the transport industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle for deliveries and collections in and around Stoke-on-Trent .
• Ensure all goods are delivered safely and on schedule to customers.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any faults or necessary maintenance.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete all required paperwork.
• Adhere strictly to tachograph laws and working time regulations.

Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) qualification.
• Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles is preferred.
• A clean driving license is essential.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service.
