HGV Class 2 Driver

Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial seeks an HGV Class 2 Driver for a Cheltenham-based wholesaler, paying £15.00 to £16.81 per hour.

This temporary role offers full-time or part-time hours, Monday to Friday, with 07:00 starts and a temp-to-perm pathway. Newly qualified drivers are welcome.

Daily duties involve multi-drop deliveries and collections, up to fifteen or more stops, using curtain-side vehicles with forklift assistance—no handball required.

You will provide professional customer service, complete paperwork precisely, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Applicants need a valid licence and a responsible approach.

Your Duties:

• Happy to drive Class 2 vehicle as needed.
• Multi-drop deliveries and collections (up to 15+ per day)
• No handball - Curtain side forklift on and off only
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Keeping your vehicle clean and roadworthy

Requirements:

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum 9 points for minor offences
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Professional and customer-focused attitude
