Salary: £42,000 per annum (£20.19 per hour)

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely, efficiently, and on time while delivering excellent customer service. This is a multi‑drop delivery role with consistent work and the opportunity to join a respected transport operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 (Category C) vehicles, including double-deck units
• Complete multi‑drop deliveries across scheduled routes
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks
• Ensure loads are secured safely and correctly
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records
• Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules
• Communicate professionally with customers and transport teams
• Assist with loading and unloading when required
• Comply with all UK driving regulations, tachograph requirements, and health & safety procedures

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Minimum 2 years of Class 2 driving experience
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience
• Good understanding of UK transport legislation and driving regulations
• Ability to carry out manual handling duties
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Clean driving licence preferred
• Flexibility to work varying shifts where required
