About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join their distribution team based in Bradford . This role is essential for the timely and safe delivery of goods to various business locations throughout the Yorkshire region. You will be responsible for operating a Class 2 vehicle, managing deliveries, and ensuring all regulatory and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of logistics, excellent driving capabilities, and a commitment to customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Drive and operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently according to schedule.
• Perform multi-drop deliveries to customers, ensuring goods are handled and delivered with care.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Complete all necessary delivery notes, collection documents, and tachograph records accurately.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer service when interacting with clients at delivery points.
• Adhere to all road traffic regulations, working time directives, and company safety policies.

Requirements

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license .
• Possess a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card.
• Clean driving license record, with allowances for minor infringements.
• Demonstrable experience as a Class 2 driver.
• Good geographical knowledge of the Bradford and West Yorkshire areas.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery targets.
