Job Description
CareerMakers Recruitment is looking for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for ongoing general haulage work based in Trafford Park. This is an excellent opportunity to secure regular, long-term work with immediate starts and the potential for a permanent position.
The Role
* General haulage deliveries and collections.
* Multi-drop and trunking work.
* Palletised goods using tail lifts and forklifts.
* Daily vehicle checks and completion of paperwork.
* Delivering goods safely and efficiently.
* Providing a professional service to customers.
* Complying with all road transport legislation and company procedures.
Requirements
* Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
* Valid CPC Qualification Card.
* Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
* Ideally 2 years' Class 2 driving experience (exceptions may be considered).
* Good knowledge of UK road networks.
* Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Pay & Benefits
* £14.50–£16.25 per hour PAYE.
* Overtime: £16.00–£18.00 per hour.
* Weekly pay every Friday.
* Ongoing full-time work.
* Temp-to-perm opportunities.
* Optional weekend work available.
