HGV Class 2 Driver – Livingston

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver – Livingston to join our well-established client based in Livingston .

This is a fantastic opportunity offering consistent weekday work, excellent rates of pay, and ongoing opportunities with a reputable transport operation.

This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver, or Pallet Network Driver.

Shifts

 • Monday to Friday
 • 07:00 – 18:00

Rates of Pay: £15.25 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:

 • Delivering palletised goods to customers throughout the local area
 • Completing approximately 14 drops per day
 • Carrying out kerbside deliveries
 • Using tail lifts and forklift unloading facilities at delivery points
 • Operating an electric pallet truck safely and efficiently
 • Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
 • Providing excellent customer service at all delivery locations
 • Adhering to all transport legislation and company procedures

Essential Skills

The essential skills required to be an HGV Class 2 Driver include:

 • Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
 • Valid CPC qualification card
 • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
 • Good understanding of driver regulations and tachograph legislation
 • Reliable and punctual approach to xwwtmva work
 • Good communication and customer service skills
 • Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively

Desirable Experience

 • Previous multi-drop delivery experience
 • Previous pallet network delivery experience
 • Experience using electric pallet trucks

Training Provided

 • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
