HGV Class 2 Jet Vac/Recycler Operator - Octane Draincare

We are seeking a dedicated HGV Class 2 Jet Vac/Recycler Operator to join our team in Bradford, Yorkshire. This permanent, full-time position plays a crucial role in the utilities sector, ensuring efficient waste management and recycling operations. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining high standards of service and environmental responsibility within our community.

Operating one of our modern combination Jet Vac or recycler units, you will carry out planned maintenance, emergency response, interceptor cleaning, vacuum excavation and large-scale drainage cleansing projects nationwide.

Responsibilities:

• Operate HGV Class 2 Combination Jet Vac/Recycler vehicles.
• Carry out high-pressure water jetting.
• Interceptor cleaning.
• Culvert, sewer and large diameter pipe cleansing.
• Gully emptying and tankering operations.
• Assist with emergency works and planned maintenance contracts.
• Complete electronic job reports, photographs and site documentation using company systems.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and Health & Safety legislation.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment to a high standard.
• Represent Octane Draincare professionally at all times.
• Participate in the emergency call-out rota.
• Ensure excellent housekeeping on every site.
• Develop skills through ongoing training.
• HGV Class 2 Licence.
• CPC Qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous operating experience.
• Good understanding of drainage operations.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
• Ability to work away from home when required.

Qualifications:

• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and operation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
• HPWJ Qualification.
• CPC
• CSCS
• Confined Space.
• SLG
• First Aid.
