About the Role

As a HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver , you will play an important role in keeping local communities clean by safely collecting household waste and recycling across the Basilldon area.

·Drive a refuse collection vehicle on planned local routes

·Lead and work alongside a team of loaders throughout the shift

·Collect household, recycling, and garden waste from residential properties

·Empty waste at authorised disposal facilities

·Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections and complete required paperwork

·Assist the loading team when operationally required

About You

We're looking for a reliable and safety-conscious driver with the right experience and a strong work ethic.

·Hold a valid Category C (Class 2) HGV licence

·Have a minimum of 2 years' HGV Class 2 driving experience

·Previous rear steer and dustcart/refuse vehicle experience is essential

·Hold a valid Driver CPC qualification

·Be physically fit and happy to assist xwwtmva with loading duties when required

·Demonstrate excellent awareness of road safety and teamwork
