Location: Uxbridge, UB9 Pay Rate: £21 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 5:00pm Optional Saturday Overtime: 6:30am – 1:00pm

About the Role

Simple Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join a busy waste management operation based in Uxbridge.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver with previous skip vehicle experience looking for ongoing, full-time work with regular weekday hours and optional Saturday overtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver, collect, and transport skips to and from customer sites.

• Safely transport and dispose of waste in line with company procedures and environmental regulations.

• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.

• Complete all delivery and collection paperwork accurately.

• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.

• Follow all road transport legislation, driver hours regulations, and health & safety procedures.

• Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle at all times.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.

• Digital Tachograph Card.

• Previous skip driving experience is essential.

• Good knowledge of UK driver hours and road safety regulations.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

What We Offer

• £19.50 per hour.

• Monday to Friday working pattern.

• Day shifts: 6:30am – 5:00pm.

• Optional Saturday overtime available (6:30am – 1:00pm).
