Days & Nights | Immediate starts

HG Recruitment are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers / LGV C+E Drivers for ongoing work with our established client in Runcorn

We are looking for professional Class 1 Drivers for a mixture of store deliveries and long-distance trunking, with regular ongoing work, planned shifts and a minimum of 10 hours' pay guaranteed per shift.

Pay Rates:

Days

• 
  
• £16.68 £18.08 per hour

Rate dependent on start time.

Weekend Rates

• 
  
• Saturday: £18.04 per hour

Sunday: £20.07 per hour

Overtime

• 
  
• £20.80 per hour after 10.5 hours worked

The role

• 
  
• Store deliveries Days

Multi-drop deliveries Low level

Long-distance trunking Nights trunking to Scotland

Delivering products within agreed delivery windows

Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects

Working safely and following company procedures

Providing a professional and reliable service to customers

Shift Patterns

Drivers will be required to work Monday to Friday, with the following start windows:

Requirements

• 
  
• Valid HGV Class 1 / LGV C+E licence

Minimum 12 Months Class 1 driving experience

Valid Digital Tachograph Card

Valid Driver CPC

Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements

Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations

Good national geographical knowledge
